HOW TO ACCESS YOUR AUTHENTIC VOICE.

Your authentic voice resides deep within the sacral chakra. The sacral chakra is, according to eastern medicine, the second energy center in the body; it’s associated with the color orange as well a your sexuality, sensuality, creativity and your past lives. It is the deepest chakra of the energy centers. You are connecting to that which you desire to create most from a timeless sense of self when you speak and sing from the sacral chakra. It’s said that Saraswathi, the Hindu Goddess, sang existence into reality. You too can do this.

Today when people speak, they are often speaking from the mind rather than the body. What this means is that they are communicating from a mental space that has been conditioned by their upbringing, cultural conditionings, the media and art they digest, the company they keep and society’s subliminal messaging. While this is immediately relatable because it’s formed from a modern shared perspective — it’s not your authentic voice. Your authentic voice is ancient, it holds wisdom that isn’t developed in our school systems, or found in today’s common culture or medical, legal and governance systems. This inner voice is your intuition.

Your intuition leads you along the path less taken, it’s against the grain and non-linear. Your inner voice is your guiding light and compass. For as much comfort and complacency modern comforts allows us, it is still up to the individual to stay alive. Staying alive doesn’t just mean having a roof over your head and food to eat- staying alive means being connected to your emotions, your senses and your sovereign ability of choice and presence. Eventually staying alive means overcoming illusions of suffering and separation while still holding responsibility as the creator of your life regardless of present and past external circumstances.

Sharing your authentic voice can feel terrifying, even life threatening… and that’s because the body remembers a time when it was a literal death sentence to speak out against popular rational. Visionaries have been called heretics, they have been put in prison for life and forced to deny and rebuke what they once stood for. Examples are Galileo and Jesus Christ. In the past, people were burned at the stake as witches for speaking their intuition. They were hung on a cross for declaring their undeniable relationship with Divinity. They were strangled, hung and beheaded as traitors and had their name and dignity stripped as criminals.

Your survival depended on your social acceptance, and you social acceptance was determined by whether or not you yourself were a threat to another person’s survival. This was, and still is, why people hold back their authentic voice. Fear of being judged is the number one reason why people don’t share their voice. Fear of being judged correlates to fear of losing love, and ultimately fear of death.

Who wrote the history books that we read today, and why has the narrative of passing time been told in schools as a slew of wars fought over land and God? What better ways are there to impress upon the mind the evolution of creation that develops generosity, kindness and curiosity rather than fear, competition and power?

More importantly, understanding your voice will help you question and identify your role in creating the new narrative of today. You have a voice, you have a vision. You have life experience and wisdom that can help template a symbiotic culture that considers the harmony, abundance and freedom of all sentient life.
